“Rock Stars” that you have met?

Anybody here meet anyone famous in music? Got any cool stories to share?
I’ve met Jerry Cantrell, William Duvall and Sean Kinney (of AIC) on a couple different occasions. I actually “hung out” with William and Jerry backstage after getting a VIP pass at their concert in NJ back in ’06. Very cool guys! Jerry made me so nervous…I felt like a 14 year old with a crush on a Jonas Brother or something because he is so handsome!

yeah..that counts! I had Dave Grohl blow me a kiss and Josh Homme smile at me so I know how you feel…I want to believe I had some sort of interaction with them haha

I’ve met all of Saosin, Rise Against twice, I’ve met I Am Ghost three or four times, they know me by now, all of Yellowcard, all of The Used, all of Aiden, Jade Puget, Frank Iero, Hunter Burgan (totally by suprise at a random show), one of the guys from MXPX and one of the guys from The Matches.
Does it count that Robin Williams waved to me from his motorcycle when I was four?

I haven’t met anyone but….
My brother used to work at a concert place in my state and he has met and hung out with tons…..

I met all of Apocalyptica and Fuel frontman Toryn Green after their show at the 930 Club in D.C.

The closest I’ve been to meeting any was when Alex Nunez of Black Tide walked right in front of me after they were done and Operator came on.

All of the members of Aerosmith came to a party at the house I was living in back in the early 1970s. It was a birthday party for their sound man, whose girlfriend was one of my housemates. They were just getting famous, with just their first album out at that time.
