nicki name asked:
How will we manage when all the old hard rock stars will pass away? They are all getting older and older and though they’re still rocking they can’t live forever…Please tell me what to think!! Long live Rob Halford!!!
The problem is also that I feel a bit uncomfortable and scared to listen to music when dead people sing. It’s weird I know.Should I go to a teraphist or what??

torilovescroatia asked: Anybody here meet anyone famous in music? Got any cool stories to share?
I’ve met Jerry Cantrell, William Duvall and Sean Kinney (of AIC) on a couple different occasions. I actually “hung out” with William and Jerry backstage after getting a VIP pass at their concert in NJ back in ‘06. Very cool guys! Jerry made me so nervous…I felt like a 14 year old with a crush on a Jonas Brother or something because he is so handsome!
haha Pull Your Punches:
yeah..that counts! I had Dave Grohl blow me a kiss and Josh Homme smile at me so I know how you feel…I want to believe I had some sort of interaction with them haha

crcostanza asked: My son LOVES music and ‘tars’ (guitars) so we are having a rock star birthday party. I am thinking red carpet coming in, letting the kids all get ‘rock star’ with hair gels/glitter for the girls and tattoos, then eating in the ‘green room’ - finger foods, sweet (candy) sushi, still thinking of more ideas for that.
And lastly, downstairs on the ’stage’ to karaoke and dance, maybe play musical chairs.
I need help for sure with centerpieces…no idea there - or do I make the downstairs more plain like it’s a concert venue??
Any ideas are appreciated!
Thanks.
All kids will be at least 3 years old that would play the games…the younger ones are much younger (infants) and therefore won’t participate.
As for organized games, I don’t see how musical chairs is that different from duck duck goose or any of the games my son & his friends play on a regular basis.
Thanks for the ideas…

nalin f asked:
Are kids totally unaware of old rock musicians? I dont expect them to know any songs but surely they would know who they were? Lol he knew Ozzy Osbourne only becoz of the Osbornes show and not through Black Sabbath
Hey people just to let you guys know I am only 21 and I pretty much like modern rock but I prefer classic rock. So yea I think my music spans from Pretty much early Yardbirds,Kinks, The Who, Beatles to current rock acts such as Razorlight, Arctic Monkeys, RHCP etc
I was just amazed that someone could have gone 17 yrs of their life and never even heard of Hendrix, Slash , Clapton etc
